Isaias Malavera painter was born in San Gil (Santander) 47 years ago, but since I turned 18 almost all who know his paintings, call the Master spontaneously Malavera, and there's no doubt that it is well earned that title Teacher:

In 1987 when Queen's University College - New York turned 50 years old, an exhibition with works by young artists from around the world, Isaias Malavera hung fifteen oil paintings and three days after that, teachers and university students queued to acquire them.

In 1994 to inaugurate an exhibition of Malavera in the Central University Library in Bogota, the academic Ignacio Cuevas Chavez permanent secretary of the Colombian Academy of language, (recently deceased)
exclaimed: "Definitely Malavera Isaias is not only a painter but is ¨ ¨ a poet of the painting"

Now, a little over a fortnight, authorities Socorro (Santander) sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce of Bucaramanga, Universidad Industrial de Santander, Hotel Manuela Beltran and others, held the first Fast Painting Competition and between 70 participants with a work entitled "Living History." Malavera took first place.

Long before age 15. Isaiah paints Malavera 7 to 7, just takes time to buy materials, to fulfill a social commitment or dispatch a work anywhere in Colombia or abroad.

Many people believe that the teacher is hard work. and a sensillez saint.
